About Department

Established in 1979, the department has been active academically. The Department offers programmes at UG as well as PG level. There are five faculty members working at the department. The alumni of the department have occupied administrative, academic and juridical positions. The department has also succeeded in producing ‘ roll of honour’ at university level. The Department of English conducts state and national level seminars, conferences and workshops. An advanced language laboratory adds to the credit of the department.
