WELCOME TO DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Established in 2008, the Department of Environmental Science has been active in contributing to culture of environment. Ours is one of only five colleges at which the discipline of Environmental Science works affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad.
Vision
Formation of the future environmentalists and contribution to innovative and transformative research in environmental science and service to humanity through expansion and dissemination of knowledge about environmental science.
Mission
To generate scientific expertise in the environmental science for the future, to meet global environmental challenges like preservation of natural resources, disaster and waste management, protection of environment, etc.
Goals
- To generate quality graduates and future expertise in the field of environment.
- To disseminate knowledge required for natural resource management and environmental protection.
- To provide technical assistance to local industries, civic bodies and government organizations.
- To spread awareness about biodiversity, geo hazards, solid waste management, agricultural disintegration, ground water management, etc.
